"When It's Time to Party We Will Part Ways..."

Heard three of the latest demos for AWK's new album last night... You might percieve that my opinion is tainted (proximity, association), and so I shall refrain from elaboration.

(Had I taken leave of my senses, however, I would probably have said that they were really fucking GREAT.)

Ta, stiff upper lip, etc.

When's that due out? The Wolf was such a huge evolution from the mainstream piercing S/T, I can't wait to hear what he does next. Is his purpose JUST to party hard, or is he intentionally infiltrating popular music with his bizarro touches? I'd love to interview the guy.

Hello leveer, Andrew, and Reggie... Yawn, just waking. Oh yeah, AWK. Well, I have no idea when his album will be released, but when it hits, you'll be able to pilot a yacht into the gaping mouths of all who hear it. It's that much of a departure. (And, that much more of a refinement.)

As to Andy's intentions, immediate plans, etc., you'd have to ask him yourselves. Can't speak for the dude. He will be joining Manic Street Preachers tribute combo "So Why So Sad" on a three-date whirlwind tour of Bosnia and Herzergovina, however. Tix now available!

Reg, sweetie, if I'd deigned to linger in those (very) safe noise enclaves a minute longer, then you might have rightly expressed concerns about "credibility." We've long left that bullshit behind, and the deck hands still clinging to Titanic's rails can have it all to themselves.

New AWK demo titles:

"Why Hasn't Queequeg Brushed His Hair?"

"Man, Don't Worry About Your Socks, Someone Will Pick Them Up for You!!"

"Party Like Tom's Vocals Were Probably Rejected by Label Suits for Being Too Odd!!"

Love,

TS

Not to worry, Reggie - that one's being remixed by Pet Shop Boys (feat. Chris Corsano) even as we weep...

Composure, Mr. Schlaack, think composure! Sit very still. Relax. Let all the air from your lungs. Inspect your nails. Think about the glorious wonder of Frankie Goes to Hollywood. Remind yourself of the comparable uber-drabness of Comets on Fire. Sleep soundly.
