In the lobby - sweltering, but that´s an anomaly. Our hotel is on the swank side, with an appalling carbon footprint. Mark Stewart would doubtless pen a screed.
Anyhow, off in a few to record in a new, favored location. The CP and I heard sounds there yesterday that neither of us had heard before in nature. A peculiar tidal clattering...
The seagulls´calls are also disorienting, possessing a distinctly simian tonality at odds with familiar behavioral assumptions. Shame that they´re rather shy about sharing their howls with us.
