A continuation of Day #1, really: Patrick Spurlock and I pull into tiny Adel, Georgia and are met by a very long, dutifully slow cargo train. An appropriately soporific welcome.
(Note: there was no Internet at my Mom's place, and an extraordinarily weak cell signal within the city limits. Subsequent posts will likely be backdated. Taking lots of photos, making notes. I'll assemble a timeline on my return, or whenever possible during my stay.)
